Key Areas of Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders the IT department, focusing on the analysis implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of the securities, brokerage & wealth management business.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document business requirements related to securities brokerage operations. Identify opportunities fprocess improvement system enhancements.
Conduct gap analyses between current future state business processes technology solutions.
Prepare detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases that align with business goals.
Work with development managers development team to design review technical solutions to meet business requirements
Participate in project planning management, including monitoring progress reporting on project status to stakeholders.
Support UAT to ensure requirements are met, provide training support on new systems processes.
Develop user guides documentation as needed.
Requirements
Degree holder in IT, Computer Science related discipline(s). Master’s degree relevant certification is a plus.
8 years of related experience in securities, banking, brokerage, wealth management sect(candidate with less experience could be considered)
Development skills in Java working with one of more Java frameworks
Strong understanding of securities trading, brokerage operations, fund, bond, structured products financial regulations.
Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, process mapping, data analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
Team player with the ability to work independently manage multiple priorities.
Good commof written spoken English, Cantonese Putonghua.
