Responsibilities:
1、Optimization execution of in vitro cell-based assays to probe targets of interest elucidate molecular mechanism of action ftherapeutic agents.
2、Culture maintenance of cell lines primary microglia (rodent human iPSC-derived) fuse in biochemical, signaling, functional assays.
3、Mastery of broad range of cell molecular biology techniques.
4、Ability to execute experiments from ongoing projects, as well as independently plan design new experiments projects.
5、Broad experience with development execution of cellular, biochemical biophysical assays.
6、Ability to review, analysis interpretation of in vitro in vivo results, troubleshooting issues related to drug discovery projects
7、Contribute to cross-functional internal project teams by presenting data to key stakeholders.
8、Keeping up-to-date well-organized records of experiments in an electronic notebook.
Qualifications:
1、Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology related field with 5+ years relevant pharmaceutical biotech experience
2、Experience in culture of primary mammalian cells, transformed cell lines human iPSC-derived microglia other myeloid cells
3、Experience in optimization execution of cell-based assays, as well as functional immune cell assays (AlphaLISA, HTRF, MSD) is a plus
4、Experience with western blotting, ELISA, qPCR, flow cytometry
5、Extensive knowledge of cell biology, molecular biology biochemistry techniques
6、Research experience with receptbiology cell signaling pathways
7、Familiarity with current research in glial biology, immunology, neuroimmunology and/neuroinflammation
8、Experience to work in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary, multi-site team setting.
9、Excellent verbal written communication skills.
