We have an open position in the Department of Molecular Informatics at Shanghai Hengrui
Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. This newly created role will lead a team tasked with
exploring, developing, implementing research informatics, data science, and
artificial intelligence technologies to maintain optimize the R&D
informatics systems, enhance the development of the AIDD platform, expedite
the discovery of small molecule biologics drugs. Furthermore, the
successful candidate will play an integral role in advancing key technologies
sharing computational expertise within theganization.
Requirements:
1. PhD degree in chemistry, pharmacy, life sciences, computational sciences, and
a proven track record in research informatics, CADD, AIDD.
2. At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in
AI-powered biotech drug discovery companies preferred.
3. Extensive experience in managing informatics systems and/developing databases.
4. Expertise in machine learning (ML) deep learning (DL), with experience in developing
applying ML/DL methods in at least one of the following fields: molecular
property prediction, molecular generation, retrosynthesis prediction, protein
design, biomedical text mining, bioinformatics analysis, etc.
5. Skilled in scientific programming, with proficiency in Python R highly preferred.
6. The ability to work effectively within a multi-discipline environment is essential.
7. Good verbal written communication skills, fluent in Chinese English.
8. Fast learner, team player, creative thinker passionate about drug discovery and
life sciences.
