CIH Innovation Lab has the mission to accelerate digitalization shape the future of BMW by leveraging the advanced technologies in China.

As a team member of CIH Innovation lab, data scientist would scout apply cutting-edge technologies by building perspectives developing prototypes/PoCs.

MajResponsibilities Degree of Influence：
-prototypes involving AI/ML models to address business problems
-Build perspectives on emerging technologies in terms of the relevance value to BMW
-Work with team members stakeholders to validate the technical feasibility of applying cutting-edge technologies in business scenarios
-Conduct continuous research on cutting-edge technologies explore promising topics in relevant areas
-Regular progress with management stakeholders using data visualization techniques audience friendly approach
-Regular knowledge sharing to enable team members
-Document work achievements lessons learns as knowledge base

Requirement:
-Masters in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, -Statistics with equivalent work experience
-Solid knowledge in AI/ML with the capability to determine applicable algorithms/models based on problem statements
-Capable to carry out survey work on a specific technology evaluate its business relevance
-Proficient in Python/R SQL
-Coding knowledge experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Go, Scala, etc.
-Creative thinking problem-solving skills required
-Good teamwork spirit & conflict resolution skills
-Passionate finnovation with a drive to learn new technologies techniques
-Excellent verbal written English
-Good communication skills in both Chinese English fcoordinating across teams
