Responsibilities 1.Engage with design team from development stage to understnew product optical design test requirement, provide optical process (optical fiber splice, Erbium Fiber KGC, KFS etc.) assessment optical test coverage proposal. 2.Support design team on new module, line card optical bring up, may engage manual calibration steady states test fearly sample delivery. 3.Define the Mfg. test items Pass/Fail criteria from optical perspective foptical electrical layer module, line card, integrated line system box with design team support. 4.Work with test development team to execute optical related test procedures, validate test method analyze results, which may cover functional, system optical link, sanity, environmental stress test etc. 5.Lead the product optical failures diagnosis including define, analyze validate the issue, track the improvement resolution to ensure meeting target yield of production. 6.Provide technical support upon product knowledge, process knowhow, test coverage improvement in factory mass production. Requirements 1.BS degree is required, master’s degree is preferred, majin Optics, Optical Engineering, Physics equivalent technical discipline from an accredited college university. 2.More than 3 years of working experience in fiber optics optical fiber communication products related industry in global company. 3.Knowledge of optical fiber communication, laser / EDFA principles. 4.Proficiency in using tools such as OSA, Power Meter, Optical Switch, Oscilloscopes related optical test instruments to independently complete diagnose task. 5.Familiar with active passive components, module, line card, transceivers their test methods in optical fiber communication. 6.Good team spirit communication skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with R&D production team. 7.Good understanding on new product introduction manufacturing bring up is a plus.
